5 Ways to Manage Self-Doubt



Confidence is wild and it is something we approach as a journey, not a destination. While we all desire to wholeheartedly believe in ourselves, self doubt will be something we will have to continually manage in life. Let’s shift our focus to five ways we can boost our own self belief and find true confidence.


  1. Flip the Script - Halt the constant loop in your head and the negative self-talk and really look at the movie that's currently playing in your mind. The one where you say yeah this will never work out for me because I always find a way to mess it up or I always surround myself with the wrong people, I can't get out of my own way. Halt that right now and rewrite it. Nope, this time it’s going to work out, this time I am equipped to handle this. I believe that whatever is truly meant for me, won’t pass me and I'll allow this situation to play out the way it’s meant to. I am ready to show up. As we’re thriving in the wild, take the time to really hone in our own instincts.

  2. Get in the Zone - Confidence Playlist, watch your favorite youtube video, have your own hype practice, put those blinders on

  3. Love List - start loving yourself for all that you are not all that you think you aren't - let go of "when I" statements.

  4. Say Affirmations and Set intentions - give your actions meaning and have an approach that makes it feel bigger and more purposeful - I can do anything that I want to do in life. All I have to do is to just believe in myself. Nothing can stop me. As long as I believe in myself, I can and will achieve happiness and success in my life.

  5. Give more than you want to receive, there is no need to compare, true self-belief comes from knowing yourself so wholeheartedly that no one can take that away from you. So put on your blinders and start being the hype person that other people need in their life, you don't have to do anything other than having the courage to believe in yourself .
